    The heart of my system. Twin ARB mounted to alum plate. Airline out the back wall, then 90*, tucks into frame rails, and terminated at hitch.

    I prefer this little black rectangular switch to the big ARB one. :)

    Fun project. Glad to be done with it.

    Lots of thanks to

    @MrGrimm , @AaronArf , @Nate87

    for sharing ideas, knowledge and experience.

    I originally built my compressor into a portable system. I got tired of lugging a 20lb compressor around so I mounted it (pictured above).

    Portable System

    I got the dual ARB air compressor. I built it into a portable system.

    It kicks ass. Airs up my 33" tires from 20 PSI to 40 PSI, in 1 minute, 5 seconds.

    Yesterday I was airing up and the relative humidity was close to 90%. I can't believe the fu**ing amount of water in my air line. I'm thinking about employing a water separator at the end of my air hose.

    Looks perfectly fine. Personally the air flow (CFM) is low but it will inflate tires and work a locker.

    Yeah the pump is small but it should work. Couldn't pass up the deal. Now I just need to get it installed.

    CBI I believe are the ones I got the idea for my set up from. Can't check for sure right now cause airplane wifi blows, but at least I can do TW! Their set up was all viair IIRC. I think they mounted it underneath the driver pocket.

    Sounds like you need to install OBA and post about it.

    Just finished reading the remaining pages. Lots of information way over my head. I'd love to have an OBA system, but it is pretty far down my mod list at the moment. It seems like it would cost me a pretty penny to get a good compressor and a tank. I also have no idea where I could mount a compressor other than under the bed, which I won't do unless I can route the intake for it somewhere that stays cleaner.

    I did mine for some dull ugly pennies. You don't have to go with ARB or Viair and still do it right.

    You're right, but I would like to at least get one of those nicer compressors. I'd hate to spend money on a system that I wouldn't be satisfied with.

    just bought the ARB front and rear locker kit with the mid level compressor (for tires, no air tools). Wondering if anyone living in a road salt area has some install tips. I want to mount the compressor inside (was thinking behind the rear seat in the storage area). Or some tips to make my install as easy and painless as possible. I will pay a mechanic to do all the diff work, and install my 4.88s at the same time but am wondering how this will work out. Also wanting to mount my switches in the sunglass compartment. Anyone do this or something similar?

    My brain is about to explode! Which one should I run to the ARB compressor switch?? I don't have any air lockers.
