I'm not spending money on that kit for it to become an annoyance.

Brightness of lights is worth it regardless. It's not constant. Definitely not annoying enough to go back to halogens. If I need to I'll use a washer or something behind the grommet to shim it. Gotta be some creative fix for it

If it becomes an issue for all 30 people buying here today, I am SURE TRS will find a remedy.

Nice. I decided not to go with led fogs. Already blinding people. So I went with yellow tint.

Anyone have any idea's or solution to this shaking problem. I like the Morimoto kits since they did mention this everywhere on their site and seeing all the reviews. I am kind of having 2nd thoughts but I am sure they will come up with a solution

Then hang tight. I'm sure someone on this forum (including myself) will play with the bulbs and the o-rings enough to come up with a solid solution. The only people that have actually seen the issue already have the bulbs. I don't know how much it will annoy me, but unless I head off-road (which I seldom will) the max speed I will mostly go is 20 MPH. So this is a safe bet for me to get them and see what/if a solution is truly warranted. Will it drive me crazy? I wont know until they are installed and I'm driving around, probably on the old abandoned runway at the other end of the island. If it does drive me that crazy, I'll pull them out reinstall the old bulbs, and leave the fogs.

I am only in the streets and freeways. Bumpy roads. Or the ones that bounce. I drive like an old granny on bumpy roads cuz the lights bounce and gets annoying and makes you look cheesy with the lights shaking

if it's such a uniform problem, why can't the seller reproduce the issue?

Has anyone further investigated if it's the Bulb, or if the projector is at fault from Toyota, or is the entire housing moving in the mounts?

Well, I'll have the truck for a full couple of weeks before I'm installing the HID's. Might have to wait for a break in the weather anyway, or maybe do the install in the hangar. So I'll totally see if there's any bouncing during the pre-install. Post install I'll check, maybe make a video so that people will see. There's got to be a way to dampen it further, but it just depends on how bad the issue is, and/or how picky people are.

To me it seems like the rod is moving on the bulb. I can see a shadow when it shakes. Kind of like a guitar string when you pull it and it shakes to a stop.

So it's not the whole bulb itself, but perhaps the rod inside the bulb?

LOL! I figured I'd give it a try. If it ends up being a big deal... I'll throw some ZXE's in and call it good for a while

yeah even at the 26% discount, if it wobbles as much as other members have complained about, I'm out as well.
Especially if TRS claims theres no issue.

TRS claimed there was no issue just because they got their hands on a headlight and played with it a bit but they did not actually install them in a truck and drive it.

Going with the Xenon Depot HID solution with the Phillips HID bulb option. Installed this setup on several cars with years of trouble free operation.

No relays are required on the Xenon Depot HID setup.
