    Im planning on going to uwharrie for a day of easy scenic trail riding and camping on my way down to florida. I know nothing about this place besides I need a pass. Is it open camping or should I stay in a campground? Any trails recommended or directions. Thanks for your help.

    Get your pass at the Eldorado Outpost and get a map while you're there. Let me know when and I may try to go. Trails are rated, they all get harder in the rain.

    Ok awesome. Is it open camping or any nice spots? If all goes as I want it too I should be there around 11 Friday morning. I have a block lift with 33" Mickey Thompsons so I am not completely stock but I dont have the suspension to get crazy (thats to come later). I bought the truck as it sits for a good deal so dont anyone bash the pretty mall crawler just yet haha.

    Yea you can camp anywhere in the park off of most trails. I was there one time and there were people stupidly camping/parked on the trails.. There are also campgrounds there if you require a potty. You should be good with most of the park, just avoid or seriously judge your ability on the hard trails (Daniel, Dickey Bell, etc).
