Bungie's Destiny

Not familiar with the Ir Yut quest line, must not have it yet.

In other news, finally finished Oryx regular mode last night after half the crew went to bed. We picked up 3 LFG guys that made a pretty odd trio, but they were cool and fun to play with. Stayed up way too late on a work night, but having Oryx behind me made me sleep better.

Now to get my titan and hunter through.

 

Sweet! You get anything good? I wanted to stay up but after sitting in class all day and doing our HM run last night I didn't have it in me to finish out.

 

Meh, I did OK. I got a 305 pulse rifle with not-the-best perks, and then some 302 boots. Or maybe the light levels are the other way around. Jeff got a pulse rifle with better perks. Bonnie got enough to finally put her at 300+.

Oryx HM down in less than 2 hrs. Not too bad

 

Need to work on getting the Touch of Malice. Kind of out of other things to do besides the raid anyway, so why not?

 

Yes you do. It is almost essential during HM Oryx. That's all we use from the Daughters forward. You will love it but you will have to "learn" to use it and when. It will kill you faster than you think.

2 fragments left to hit 45, almost there. Lucked out on a couple of the Court of Oryx ones -- there were 4 guys running around, and the first 2 2nd level runes I popped in gave me the combos I needed. I can't keep track of which ones I have on which character, so I had to start at the top of the list and keep working my way down. Surprised at how many I had missed on my warlock.

 

First world problems. Motherfucker isn't going to have to worry about Destiny much longer. Fat boy is gonna die of a stroke / heart attack. It's funny but looking at his other videos it appears that's his shtick. He has obviously not played a true MMO where there is actual "true" grinding. Jesus... I spent over 5 years in one MMO and you could type "/played" and it would tell you how long you have been logged into that character. One character I had over 370 days (that's 370 24hr periods) that I had logged. That was on ONE character. I had 5. That is the true meaning of grinding.

You know me and how I am in the game. I'm going to burn through the new content and farm HM. That's my deal. That's what I enjoy and the TTK is a fun raid that I still love doing. I want the best shit that I can pull out of the game. I'll do whatever it takes to get there. That's exactly how I approached any MMO's I ever played. Get me to the raid so I can get the best shit. That's all I want because if I'm (we're) honest that's what ANYONE wants. Otherwise whats the reason for playing? HoW's really turned me off of Destiny and I gave up on it. But TTK brought me back and I'm glad. I enjoy logging in again as there is always something to do. IB is up this week and I'll finish it out today or tomorrow at the latest.

 

Yeah... it's his shtick. As far as his points that he made some (most) were valid at the time of his recording. That's not so much now. In fact I felt similar to what he felt before TTK.

This is why I can't play destiny as much. Guy goes 0-17 on Iron Banner and gets a legendary engram.

 

This game sucks go play fallout.

 

I have been...lvl 30 I'm back home after being away for 3 weeks of hotel internet so I thought I'd give it a try since iron banner is back.

 

Yeah man... It's hit or miss. I had a game earlier today and didn't die once and was top of the list. Didn't get anything. Guy went 4-10 and got a chest piece

 

Got all the armor though and was able to level it up with my raid armor which was pretty sweet. Just past rank 4 and I'm debating on whether I want to go to rank 5. Don't really care for the weapons. The machine gun is the same as the raid machine gun without cocoon
