Nothing like having a SS with no build thread and less than 500 posts.

Thinking about PM'ing him/her and asking him/her what he/she wants...

    Ok you win.

That's kinda shitty that someone would join the SS on a Tacoma site and not even have a Tacoma...

Or he is a genius and has several car forum accounts and will be rackin up the free gifts this year...

I don't see the problem with them not owning a Tacoma and being an enthusiast. I'm a pretty big fan of vaginas but I don't have one, does that make me a bad person?

    Um...hello

    Cool story.

Who said you're my SS?!?!? :spy:

That's apples and oranges. I never said that he or she was a bad person either. I just said that it's shitty.

@tacoman15 your vague description fits me into that margin of users on TW ... "No build thread and less than 500 posts"

Just write up a short wish list. At least that gives your giftee some ideas to think about. My SS has been a member for a few years and has less than 500 posts lol.

It really isn't a big deal. I just like to give stuff to people that I know they could use instead of putting it in a corner somewhere and forgetting about it ya know?

I only have a bit over 400 posts myself, but at least I made a wish list for my SS, and I'm on TW every day (I'm addicted). I've only been a member since June and I didn't think I had enough stuff on my truck for a build thread yet.

I used to get on TW everyday a while ago. I took a hiatus for a few years. I got back on a few weeks ago. Reading all the same old post asking the same old questions got really old really fast.

That I can understand. I usually don't participate in that type of drama, I'm just always looking for ideas for my truck and when I have a need for advice or information, I search for it first before asking.

I probably don't have enough on mine for a build thread either, but that didn't stop me! :headbang:
For those like us, it is a nice way to document the progress and change over time (no matter how slow it may be).
