Dude lives in my town so I had to share this story.....

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaQ9QKrrncY

    :(
A Lufkin man driving one of the world's fastest and most expensive cars accidentally drove the car into a lagoon Wednesday near Galveston after being distracted by a low-flying pelican, according to La Marque police.
The man, whose name was not being released by the police department as of Thursday afternoon, was driving northbound around 3 p.m.

Wednesday on an Interstate 45 feeder road near Omega Bay on his way to look at real estate in Galveston when his Bugatti Veyron left the road. He escaped the partially submerged car uninjured after it came to rest in two feet of saltwater.

The French-made two-seater hit the market in December 2005, boasting 16 cylinders and four turbo-chargers. It can reach speeds of more than 250 mph. New models sell for about $2 million.

After the accident, the man told someone at the scene, "It's the rarest car in the world, not something you can just replace," according to a Galveston County Daily News report.

This Bugatti Veyron was one of only 200 made and one of only about 15 in the United States!
