    Question for you guys, what's the worst mileage you have gotten so far on a full tank? My worst so far is 14.6 mpg for a full tank of gas from Phoenix to Vegas with no stops in between.

    Damn that is not great especially for the lighter weight Access Cab... is your vehicle mostly stock or did you add larger tires? I can't recall.

    Why in the world would factory tires/wheels be undersized? Shouldn't they come on the truck meeting spec?

    265/70R16 is the TRD OR OEM tire size... 265/65/17 is the TRD Sport I believe. Which are basically the equivalent size in tire once you account for the rim size increase from 16 to 17.

    I would think they calibrate odometer to meet the trim level of truck. Seems silly to me that Toyota would sell a vehicle with Speedo/Odo errors off the production line.

    So a 265/75R16 would be over stock size and a 265/75R17 would be even further over stock size.

    So you're saying a 265/75R16 is the "most correct" tire size for the truck as far as gearing and speedo calibration is concerned? Or a 265/75/R17?

    The 2016 TRD Offroad comes with 265/70R16's.
