    Guys,

Looking to buy some wheels to replace the steelies on my Taco. The wheels have some BFGoodrich Rugged Trails on them w/ about 20k on them already. These are the stock wheels / tires.

Anyone know what the lifespan of these tires is? Anyone run them from stock until they were worn out completely?

    Input is appreciated!

Most people say they arent very good, i have never used them before, but i work with a guy that had some with about 22,000 on them and they seemed to be wearing pretty good.

I have almost 20,000 on mine and lots of tread left. Friend has 35,000 on his and will need new tires soon, but he doesn't use his truck in snow. Has a big Ford 4x4

From what I have read on TW, and witnessed up here (not on my truck though), they suck in snow and are horrible on ice. FWIW

    No clue on tread life.

My 2013 came with Rugged Trails. At 30,000 they are pretty well done. They have just enough tread left to be okay on dry pavement but I definitely need to replace them soon. Probably wouldn't pass state vehicle inspection.

    Same as everybody else...
I have a set of Rugged Trails on my 99 Ranger with about 25k on them. I really love the tires, no problems in rain, snow or gravel/dirt roads. No serious off roading, mostly highway driving. I'm looking to replace the Geolanders that are on my Taco and I'm not sure if Ill pick the BFG Rugged Terrains or the Firestone Destination AT.

I have them on my 2013 double cab with 36K on them. Their probably on their last legs. Just had them rotated at the steelership and they didn't say anything about needing to be replaced but, I am in southern Tennessee.

Mine were worn out by 32,000 miles..Not very good in rain or snow.I am happy with the Cooper Discoverer H/T that I replaced them with.
