We've ordered a 16 Gray TRD off-road that won't be here until the first week in January. DH has been looking at Tacomas for 10 years. This latest update finally included some things that were important to us and we decided to go for it. Since a lot of people have asked about pricing I thought I'd pass this along in case it helps anyone else. We ended up at Mountain States Toyota in Denver. They dropped the dealer fee a month ago and that's an immediate $500 savings. Plus they gave us over $2000 off MSRP. Plus they didn't add any non-oem junk to their vehicles to jack up the price. (We live an hour and a half away but the local dealer wanted MSRP, plus dealer handling, plus added non-oem extras we didn't want.) Needless to say we decided the driving was worth the savings. We got all the info on the phone and e-mail so we only have to drive when we pick up our new Tacoma.

Can't say what you'd get now as their online discounts don't look quite as good as a couple of weeks ago. Also when you call the internet sales department they give you a little more discount than their website lists so don't go by the online discount price.

My DH is counting the days. He's been waiting a long time.

Husband. It's a somewhat common message board acronym.

    Technically stands for "dear husband".

This is the first time I heard of 2000 off MSRP. Well good for you. I know in my area some dealers may give you 500 off MSRP

Yep. Was a generally pleasant buying experience at Mountain States, and you won't find $2k off MSRP anywhere else nearby right now.

I bought there as well and think I got a good deal. I don't know my exact MSRP, but I got the TRDOR 4x4 DC, with tonneau, premium/tech package... for $35,000 (+ttl, but no additional dealer fees). I haven't seen anything better elsewhere.

I can also say it was a great buying experience with Mountain States Toyota (Sales Advisor David Cadena 302-8848 ) . I am flying in 12/2 for my pickup and driving home to Southern Idaho. Just wish I could have booked a flight for 11/22 or so when it would have arrived.:goingcrazy: And yes I received the same discount.:taco: Quicksand OR DCLB 4x4 Auto Prem / Tech with JBL, Towing , Bed Mat.

Original deposit on 9/28. Truck was already in allocation with a build date of 11/4. Actual build date of 11/6.
