This might be a stupid question but I'm gonna tint my tails this weekend and was wondering if it's best to do the inside or outside. If the answer is inside how much trouble is it to take lens off. If it's outside how difficult is it to remove from truck.

Do the lights come out or just have to tape it all off

I did the inside... why would you do the outside?

I did the inside because it can't get scratched off, and it tints and you can't see the paint. I also used black spray paint not night shades and it worked great, just a light coat to make them darker, remember to tape off the reverse light.

I've never done it on mine (and wouldn't). Any I've seen done on here do the outside. My guess is it's difficult to get the lens off without breaking the lens.

Check your laws, but I know in Pa it's illegal to tint over the plastic that covers the bulb.

All I did was warken mine a bit, you can't tell it's tinted, but it looks nicer.

you can see them just as well in the day or night, so why not? just separating my truck from joe blow down the road.
