I am torn between the limited and the sport model. Anyone else that looked at those two? Which did you pick and why? Also torn between red and gray on the color front. And finally roof rack or no roof rack? THANKS.

Looks great. I really like the hood scoop on the sport. Does it handle pretty well?

Yeah I was torn. but at the end of the day I did not like the color of the leatherette and I did not care for all the chrome or especially the 18" wheels. The Limited looks "plain' with splashes of chrome.....Plus I could get the JBL system in the Sport.

The TRD Sport fits me better. All show , no go LOL

I like the stiffer suspension and the general look of the Sport. The only thing that would have pushed me to the Limited was the JBL entertainment system. If my dealer could not find a Sport with it, I would have purchased the Limited. The JBL made all the difference to me. Still does. I think it is an excellent stock system.

I like the look of the TRD sport better. Especially the hood scoop. My last Tacoma was a 2014 SR5 Prerunner and every time I saw a Tacoma with a hood scoop, I would say "my next truck is gonna have a hood scoop". I like the look, but some don't. Plus the TRD Sport has Led running lights, blinkers on the mirrors, better suspension than the SR5, navigation (so does the Limited). For me the TRD sport was an upgrade. I didn't want or need the sunroof, leather seats, dual climate control, etc. that the Limited has. So if you want all that and don't want a scoop, then get the Limited.

    Sport > Ltd.

Chrome doesn't belong on a Toyota truck - especially if there's a roof rack on it.

I think there's too many MGM greys on the road. Go red if that's your only other choice. Stand out.

None yet. Vehicle on order. Due around Halloween 2016
If you get the DC and AT you can order a truck with all available options and add almost everything you get on the limited. Not sure how the sport suspension compares to the Limited. You will get the 16'' tires and wheels instead of the 18'' on the limited. Also you can't get power folding mirror on anything but the limited. I was also torn between MGM and BR. I have always bought grey and I knew I'd like that but was unsure on the black fender flares on the TRDOR. Grey was a better choice for me. The black fender flares were just fine.
The sport has no off color flares. The color keyed rear bumper is only on the JBL upgrade in the TRDOR I think.

I think if you order your truck and load it up as much as possible you will save a bit over the Limited and be happy. But if youe want the smoothest ride and are not as worried about the best OR performance go limited.

I am torn between the limited and the sport model. Anyone else that looked at those two? Which did you pick and why? Also torn between red and gray on the color front. And finally roof rack or no roof rack? THANKS.

I've driven luxury cars the last 10 years and love my leather. However, I actually preferred the (black) cloth of the Sport over the Limited's poor excuse for leather. I also preferred the aesthetics of the Sport (no chrome + hood scoop).

The only thing I miss from the limited are the wheels (can buy) and the homelink.

I went into this wanted the limited, but a saw a red sport on the dealer lot and thought it looked great. I think the scoop does really add something to the look. Thanks for your thoughts.

That says alot based on the cars you have driven in the past, that both you like the sport better and that you enjoy the taco in general. Thanks.

Yeah, I think it handles great. Kind of freaks me out sometimes, coming off my 2001 :)

I was in between the two myself. After seeing some pics of the "leather" interior's poor fitment that looked like seat covers and then reading about what the material really was (faux leather) I was leaning more towards the Sport. The hood scoop was important to me (had a 2nd gen Sport) and I couldn't get over the chrome accents. After much debate I think the only thing I ended up liking more on the Limited than the Sport was the front grill. I was set on the JBL audio, but like one member said above it can be added to the Sport. I ended up with a fully optioned Sport and came out a grand or so less than a comparable Limited. Go Sport and leave the Limited for the guys that don't know any better.

Sounds like the sport is the right way to go and the way I will go. I am leaning towards the BR color. I will get it fully load. So the only real question left is roof rack or no roof rack. Is the any downside to getting it?

We just agreed to buy a DCLB OR in 5 weeks. That suits us best. We will be taking it offroad, though
