    Except that the 12+ tacomas are a different shade of silver :( Im sure it would still look good though and be barely noticable

    Your shell would hold fine if you got a rack like a Prinsu. It does a great job of distributing weight.

    I did a lot of research on it because I knew I wanted to run an RTT on it and found that almost any shell will do. I lucked out and the shell I found on CL happened to be reinforced.

    Haha all good. Last winter I put it on when going over the pass for extra weight and traction but don't need to now that I have my rear bumper

    Do it. I have the brackets but no lights.

    I'm gonna run Rigid SR-Qs like @Base Camp eventually.

    My bar throws a ton of light but not much spread. I want to angle them out ward so I can see where I'm turning in the dark.

    Combined is about 16mpg. Going from my school to work (all freeway on i5 at 63mph) I have average about 19.6

    I love my tire carrier so much, not sure why someone would get a rear bumper without one..

    The only negative I have to say about a tire carrier is rear view obstruction. It's such a positive though that it totally outweighs it. Frees up so much space plus it looks sweet!

    @Base Camp do you have a picture of what the light spread looks like from your ditch lights? Im planning on moving my LED Pods that are mounted on my frame up to there, they just get way to dirty under and don't spread much light.

    Thats true but I got a cheap back up camera off ebay and that problem is solved :D

    Same here. When I drive around LA, I get about 13. On the highway I average about 17-18

    Thats why, once you go faster than 65 your mileage plummets. Even in a 70 zone I usually set my cruise on 65, with my tires im really going 69 or 70 but the engine isn't turning any faster than it did before.
