Hey guys, been a long time lurker on TW but haven't posted much. I have an '05 swb tacoma AC 4x4 and was wondering how do you get the blinkers on the headlights to stay on (not flashing) at all times? I notice that models after '05s have those lights turned on when the truck is running. Please refer to the photo (not my truck)2005-toyota-tacome.jpg

    Just installed new mirror

Price was right for me, I'd been wanting one for 5 yrs, but didn't like the price until I came across that thread. Works great.

Just an FYI. But there's been issues of melting lenses with the day time running lights. Just so you're aware before you do it.

I don't have daytime running lights. Which I like. Incase I want to be incognito. :spy: :D

where did you mount your probe? what circuit did you attach it to? I'm ordering this mirror and hopefully be able to do it this weekend!

Did it attach to the rear view mount or did you have to apply a new mounting block?

On the driver side in front of the radiator ... I'll get a pic and post it when I get home this morning. I tapped a circuit I already had an add-a-fuse tap on for my light circuits; I'll get a pic of that and exactly which fuse circuit it's coming off ... can't remember now.

It mounts on the same wedge as the old mirror. I have a ImMrYo riser, but same principle.

I'm 6'2" ... I had gotten used to it, but after I put the bracket in, I was surprised at the difference it made. :notsure: For me, it was creating a blindspot that the bracket eliminated.

Wut? How do they turn off? I thought it was headlights or DTRL. Nothing ever "off"

Is that even on older models? Meaning 05+?

Yeah. I'm thinking the older models, you can't turn em off. Someone with them could verify. That's why I was glad I didn't have them.

And true about the fix. But I shouldn't have to if I had them. Shit like that annoys me. /short rant.

The LED brake lights look tacky as fuck. I remember coming out of a store when I left the truck running and seeing them on for the first time :puke: As soon as I got home I ordered some of the older ones.
