Ok so everyone coming to Mod day, if you dont already have my # and address, please shoot me a PM and I'll send you both. If you came to the last mod day, dont be a lazy fuck and ask for it again, go look through your PMs

 

You just need a flat plate with 4 holes and bolts to fill them. Add a tube (weld) or an old hitch to go into a receiver and you are there. Did my coil swap two weekends ago. Would like to see this unit though

 

Cool! He's super mellow. I ordered a tire carrier and new spare hopefully gonna pick it up friday to install on sat but it may not be here in time. What time should i aim to be at your place?

 

I'll be up and doors open by 8 AM. If you show up earlier than that, enjoy sitting on the front lawn lol. I kid, but yea, anytime after 8 AM, would prefer if everyone that needs work done to show up pretty early as I'd like to get to hollister before it gets dark.

how long are you going to be there, depends if ill be showing up. I cant go to hollister.

 

I'm gonna try to be on the road by 2ish, give or take an hour. It all depends on who shows up and what we are doing. If were done by noon, i say lets eat and go. If were still working by 2, then well try to finish up what we can and go.

 

Would like to come to mod day but uncertain if I can make it on Sat. I'm looking to change out the rear coil on the 4runner on Friday since I'm off but don't have a tall enough Jack stand. Anyone in the south bay I can borrow on friday? And if Sat works for me, I'm not sure u guys have enough jack stand to use for all

 

Ok, so I feel this is a safe place to not get so I'm going to ask for an assist on this one lol. So, since my last full synthetic oil & filter change didn't help my mpgs at all (pulling about 13-14 still), I cleaned my MAF sensor and my K&N filter...still no luck. At 123k miles (purchased with ~100k), is it fair to assume it's the spark plugs?

 

Do you have enough hard (drive way space) to have several going at once)? Found some stands and now have access to a floor jack too. All I'm doing is the ECGS bush. I'll even have a spare CV axle on hand if needed.

 

Also, I'm taking my set of assembled projectors in OEM housings off and gonna put em up for sale, unless somebody wants to buy em at mod day

 

HMU bro, we can change out your plugs in no time. Go buy some and I can do it quick for you. After installing the SC I no longer fear engine work lol. Also, get rid of your oiled filter, you're just gumming shit up. Dont believe me? Pull your intake off the throttle body and run your finger along the inside of the TB, look at all the oily dirt that comes off lol

 

I can fit a truck in the garage most of the way and park 2 in the driveway. But only have 1 pair of jack stands and 1 jack. If you bring stands you can work on the truck, but my driveway is pretty sloped.

I used to swear by K&N as well lol, but they just let to much particulate through and nobody ever oils them perfectly lol, so its either not enough and shit gets through or its to much and oil leechs through. AFE ProDry or bust

Hopefully my parts get in friday so I can put em on sat but if not ill still be there for "support"
