Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo's

The time has come for me to purchase new tires on my 2000 Tacoma. According to Consumer Reports, they recommend two tires; The Pirelli Scorpion AT's and the Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo. I have heard great things about the Bridgestone Dueller's in the past but from other blogs and forums I have heard horrible things about these tires and I was wondering if any of you guys put these on your Tacoma's and what you thought....

Thanks. I hear they are great on traction but the problem I am hearing is that these tires have a 50,000 mile warranty on them and I have multiple people telling me that they can't get more than 15–20,000 miles off of these tires. I know most all-terrain tires don't have a long tread life but I don't want to spend $700 for a set of tires that I will have to replace in a year or a year and a half. I'd like to at least get possibly three years; I got 5 years out of my first set which were cheap...
Do you have any experience with tread wear on these tires? Thanks again.

I sell them all day long if you rotate your tires every 5.000 miles
you r going to see about 40.000 if your alignment is right
and you keep an eye on your psi

I used to work for a tire company and Bridgestone Duelers have always been great tires. I am sure that there is a possibility that a lot of the people complaining about these tires in the other blogs do not rotate their tires accordingly or keep an eye on the air pressure—I have seen many people bring their car in stating that it is pulling to the right or left and adding air to their tires remedy the problem. I was just wondering if anybody who does take care of their tires on regular intervals has gotten more than 15–20,000 miles out of their Duelers.

i had them on my 1st tacoma for 30.000 miles
sold the truck the tires were at 7/32

 

I'm on set #3 of AT Revo's and wouldn't hesitate to buy Revo 2's when the time comes again. I've run several sets of BFG AT's, MT's, and many other crappy ones too. Maintain and rotate them regularly and they will run you 70-80,000 miles easy. They're quieter on the road than all that I have tried, the best in rain and snow, decent offroad, and balance well.

 

I'll need to remember these when time comes for me to replace my current tires.

7/32 is not bad for having 30,000 miles on them...

 

are they still making the revo's? i thought the revo 2 took over?? here in south jersey this
tire plus place is selling it buy 3 and get one free.... I have been looking around for new tires... not too crazy about the ones that came with truck. I am looking Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo Open Country A/T (pain in the ass to get thou and not cheap) and General Grabber 2... ... Michelin, Firestone, Continental, Yokohama and BFG AT (rip off) are out. Pirelli Scorpion looks too cheesy!

 

Firestone has a promotion if you buy 3 Revo's, you get the fourth free. I checked this out and the Revo's they are selling are around $170 a tire which will come to $510.00 for a set before mount and balance fees and tax. I also found other places that are selling the same tire for $130/tire which comes to $520 for a set excluding mount and balance fees plus tax. $10 difference here....not a good deal if you ask me....In my mind, you are really not getting the fourth tire for free at Firestone; you are actually paying for it in the three you purchase....Just an FYI.....

 

What size? I'm having a hard time finding 265/75/16 locally for the revo's
