Vinyl Inserts for the Tailgate

Took me a little bit to find time to install them. First two took awhile because it's a pain to figure out how to peel the vinyl off the paper. Took a total of maybe 10-15 minutes though. Here's pictures for the inferno crowd. I think it looks great! thanks for the easy instructions.

 

If I sent you some 3M Di-Noc vinyl, could you cut it? If so, how big of a piece would you need?

Finally had good enuff weather to add mine...the GF did the work...she has the skills to do these kinda projects!

 

FYI, I am now offering white, red, light gray, dark gray, and silver metallic in addition to black, all in gloss or matte options. $24 shipped. PM me if you are interested in any color other than the matte black that I currently have listed on eBay.

Finally found the time to get this done. For me getting the letters of the backing was way easier than putting them on the car, since I have shaky hands . IMO, the white or red color may look better than black on the MGM. I could not tell the difference 5 ft way from the car.
I was able to use the exo knife to get the letters off with ease.

 

Thanks for the pic. I've got a MGM, and, after seeing the black on yours, I think that I might try a lighter color that'll contrast a little more.

 

Got mine from rrentrop now I just need my truck! Maybe next week

 

Turned out great! Followed directions to the T and had no problems at all!!! What do I do with this extra T now?!?

Did you add the 4x4 badge or was it stock?

Mine didn't come with that badge... Bummer.

 

Non-TRD models get the badge on the tailgate. TRD models have the 4x4 on the bedside decal

 

Got ya! Thanks... I replaced my bedside decals with other ones that were way more bad ass. So I might look out for a badge.

 

Yes, but you probably will not see any noticable fading of the matte black for at least 10 years. The vinyl is just as durable, if not more so, as the vinyl on the doors.
