    I like this....the southern boys invading the southwest!!!

    And I second snow tank. Been out to Phoenix twice this year for a week each. I wouldn't want to live in Scottsdale either. Felt......boring

    You been out twice? Just to look around?
    No Its just very rich. Filled with snobs for the most part and db's. Look in chandler. Mesa. Or depending on where you will be stationed you can look at tge west side too. Out near lake pleasant. Goodyear. Avondale. Glendale. Peoria. More of the members are east side tho near the chandler area

    I have. First this past January for a medical conference. I ended up going for only one day to the conference said fuck it to the rest grabbed a rental car and drove over 1500 miles around the state in a weeks time. Went to flagstaff the Grand Canyon, petrified Forrest, painted desert, meteor crater, Tucson and the Sonoran desert museum. Went thru Payson and the absolutely amazing drive it offered.

    Having fallen in love with Arizona in January I decided I better try it in August when it's hot as 43 mother fuckers. So I went out again for a week stayed in Scottsdale it was super nice as you said but it was boring there. Went to Sedona and Prescott, Tonto natural bridge and then mainly stayed in Phoenix exploring the area. Out to Avondale which was nice but God it felt like it took forever to get there. Climbed south mountain, floated the salt river and got pelted with a fucking marshmallow (who the hell decided that was a good thing to do?!?!?)

    Then this job came up in BHC and I had to jump at it. Just another part of Arizona I've not been in. Your state is pretty damn big you know.

    Very rich? :eek: im looking at getting an LEO job there and i dont think i want to live in a rich city... i want to be near folks my own age(sorta) away from the city (which sounds silly seeing i'll be near phx regardless). Scottsdale, Chandler,Mesa,Gilbert,Tempe are my options thus far.

    Yes, it's a rich area just look at Trulia and the house prices. Tempe has younger folks, ASU and google fiber :) what's not to like about that!!!

    Haha ASU looked fun. I "stole" I use that term loosely an ASU shirt from an ex like 12 yrs ago I was so excited to be able to get my own when I went there. My family all thinks I'm nuts for being an ASU fan when I went to Auburn Univ. but google fiber yeah I'd totally look at Tempe when I hopefully get to Phoenix after bullhead city due to google

    Ah you drove right by me. Im In between the petrified forest and payson. Thats a nice trip you took. The state is pretty big but luckily a square so there are shortcuts you can take to get to places un like cali. Haha

    The state is gigantic it's like two Georgia's and we are decently large. Ohh wow you live out in the boonies!!!! :) are you on that high flat desert area like it was at the petrified Forrest or are you more in the mountainous Forrested area? It was so freaking pretty driving thru there back to Phoenix.

    Yeah. Just avoid It. Tempe is cool aswell and right next to scottsdale. Lots to do there aswell and pretty centrally located. Lots to do there. Always parties and concerts going on. Sporting events. When i lived in phx i lived in glendale peoria and avondale. All west side. Middle incone areas with some high income aswell. that side of town is close to lake pleasant and wheelibg out there for crown king and bloody basin and sheeps crossing. The east side has has sycamore and butcher jones. And some others. Then a short hour and a half ish drive will take you up to payson and the rim. Where lakes and good camping are.
