Changed the screen's accent colors to match the orange ring. Looks much sharper now imo.

Why in the hell would you tint the entire windshield?

The same reason one would tint the other windows, reduce the heat, cut the glare, protect the interior....

Kinda important to be able to see out the windshield at night.

    that's so illegal in california

We go to Tintmasters in Ontario. They will do any car for 20 dollars a glass. They do the best work around here and 20 a glass is cheap

Ya I figured it had to be illegal as fuck in Cali considering all their crazy laws especially in regards to vehicles on the roadways. Hell in Texas that's illegal as well. But hey, kids will be dumbasses before they learn the hard way.

It is illegal in VA and NY too... you can only do 5" strips on the top. Also, $400???!!!! What kind of film is he using? Because I have never paid over 120 for tints ...

Having had to drive a car in Cali with tinted side windows I can tell you it is the most dangerous fucking thing in the world. All the excuses I hear from the morons with window tint are utter bollocks. UTTER BOLLOCKS!!

I got nothing against tinted side windows within the legal limits. I've driven vehicles with limo tint all around (except the windshield cuz who's that fucking stupid?) at night and it's hard as fuck to see backing up or out the side windows

I'm talking well beyond legal tint, which is something I saw frequently in california.

@NutFlush how you gunna get passed inspection without committing the crime of bribery? When you have to peel of the registration and/or inspection sticker(s) from the windshield, you will likely need a razor blade and guess how well razor blades and window tint get along... its easiest to peel the stickers if you spray em with windex before scraping with the razor blade. You should be sure that's windex with amonia.

@because_minitruck I have driven vehicles with 5% tint all around, they are uncomfortable to drive, but nothing too impractical. I do agree on the windshield being a dumb idea

You must be using cheap dyed film. Try Wincos film. You can apply Wincos 70% to the windshield (which IS legal in California) and it filters out infrared heat, reducing heat better than a darker dyed limo tint.
