    nice clean setups,
Personally id do some shok triton 10s or if you have the budget 2 Sundown 12 Sd3s and toss a legitimate 1500wrms + amp on them. Jl is nice and all but the price is a little high for my liking per performance

I guess I never said it in this thread, but everything was installed by a local audio shop. I did not have the time or know how to do it myself.

The best sounding system that I ever built was with a single 8" diver in a bandpass enclosure. Depends on preference I guess.

IF you have ever heard a single 8 with about 800 wrms with a 1/4 Wave guided TL box you'd be amazed. The bandwidth is insane, and the response and SPL is just ridiculous. It really is to bad you cant fit one of these boxes in a taco

I built this myself. Took a lot of shoehorning to get it to fit.

It's highly unlikely this box will fit the 2016. There are new cab vents on the back wall there were not on previous years. There is a vent on each side of the back of the cab wall that protrude about 3 inches out and about 9 inches long. Unfortunately these vents are in the exact space where the back of the box rests on the cab wall. I'm working on my own install now and have to work around this with the box I have.

That's true. It really depends on OP's wants. As long as he spends his money on a quality setup, I am sure he'll be happy.

I am actually waiting for a replacement amp to come in. When I take it out and swap it. I will take dimensions of it as I go. Look at the pics and maybe you can get an idea of how I got started.

Did you have to remove the plastic to fit the micro sub or would they fit with it?

Well I don't trust myself when it comes to building stuff like this because I know there is supposed to be some calculation for air volume to displacement IDK. So I'd rather just buy something that's proven to work that I can just slap in there.
