    I've got a thread over in the tire forum about "life with Duratracs". I had some issues with 'em balancing when they were new. It took 3 tries to get 'em where I liked them. I honestly believe they need to be "run in" a bit at first. The 3rd balancing was at 1500 miles. They've been GREAT every since. Did the 5000 mile rotate and balance today and 3 were perfect, one within 1/4-oz. Like the looks and LOVE the performance!

    This is good! Just opened my mail. A few days ago, I stopped at our neighborhood car wash. I know the owner well. I found his equipment room unlocked and standing wide open. There were tools everywhere, and a gallon tub full of $1 coins (used as tokens). I called Mike, and then called the police (Mike lives about 30 miles away. The police checked everything and we locked the door until Mike could swing by and make certain everything was OK. Apparently his helper had drove off and left the door open. All was well though.

    So. I open an envelope that had a strange return addy on it. It was a letter from Mike, thanking me for watching over his business, AND, a card with a bar code on it. It will provide me with free car wash service from this day forward. I wasn't expecting anything in return...just trying to do the right thing. Now the Tacoma can get washed every day if it needs it!

    Karma man!
