I did basically the same thing as him but with different material. Haven't heard the noise yet in pretty decent winds. Still waiting for a brutally windy day though.

Look at post 129. The 2nd pic in that post shows what he (nd4sp) did, highlighted by 3 red lines. The line on the right side I believe is where Maritimer put the loom. If you close your door and look down at it from the top, it's the only part of the seal you can still see. Between that part and the door is the area. I put some of that screen spline in there and it's been silent so far. Still waiting for some extreme winds before I call it good.

Very windy yesterday (40 mph +) and was getting the kazoo whistle on the passenger side, bought some 1/4" OD tubing at ACE and put a single line of tubing between weather striping and door, from the rear of the door to the front down by the mirror. Went for a drive and only some intermittent noise. went back home and sliced a piece of tubing in half, lengthwise, and put that in the same channel, down past the mirror to the end of the weather stripping ( I didn't put tubing there at first because the space was smaller and it seemed to move the weather stripping too far from the door). Went out for a drive on the same road with the identical winds and no whistling at all. Hopefully no more kazoo!

Thanks to all who spent so much time working to solve this problem.

I have a 2015 DCSB with the same problem. 70+ mph and high cross winds causes the same sound on my driver's side door by the mirror. I will be buying the WeatherTech Side Window Deflectors very soon to see if this fixes my problem. If not, I'll be trying the 1/4" wire loom.

Thanks to everyone who has posted. The info definitely helps.

I took it to dealer last week for first oil change , told them about noise and showed them a recording video of it, they test drove it and did same noise, they so called adjusted the drivers side door and now noise is gone. Think they added pressure to top part of the door to bend it in a little, not too sure what they used. Thought they had adjusted from door hinges but no, they show no sign of adjustment on hinges.

My 2015 tacoma texas edition has same problem, its annoying noise that my freinds who rode with me to San Antonio from Houston is no longer interested with toyota truck. Its exactly the same noise that i hear in this video. http://youtu.be/nGSWYtui80Q
I have my truck check this morning at Sterling McCall Toyota in Houston, TX but i think their mechanics are DEAF. They could not hear the noise and in fact on my way home as im on highway 59th at 60mph speed i hear it again. I think i just have to leave it this way and have an earplug ready when driving.

I was finally in some pretty harsh winds yesterday, winds I know would have caused the noise. Didn't hear a thing. The window noise seems to be resolved.

Let me first say, that I just subscribed to this forum SPECIFICALLY because of this noise. I've been trying on my own to figure it out for about a year, after having the dealership replace my window seals and my door seals. (And then get very rude with me when I called back to tell them it didn't work). I have tried a bunch of things from adhering my window seals to the metal door (using black silicone adhesive sealant), double sided 3M foam tape in the window seals, and I recently installed in-channel vent visors...NOTHING worked. When the kazoo starts, I literally scream the F word at the top of my lungs. It's all I can do to not drive it off a bridge into the Potomac. The other day, I decided to tape my door channel (effectively taping my door shut...I climbed across from the passenger side to get in). It was a very windy morning...and...NO KAZOO. Once I knew it was the door seals, I did the search and found this thread. The videos throughout are exactly my noise. I have some running around to do this morning and I'll be grabbing something from Home Depot to put in between the door and the seal. If it works, I'll post pictures...then Maritimer and GotMetal will get xmas cards from me. The noise has been driving me INSANE and it happens during EVERY drive to and from work.

Oh my god. It worked. I just drove for an hour and...NO KAZOO. And it's blustery today, the winds are high. I can't tell you how relieved I am. I feel a little bit like this guy:

As stated above, I had the awful "kazoo" type noise coming from the door seal. I've been dealing with this for about a year (since I bought the truck, brand new). I already had the window seals and the door seals replaced by the dealership. They also tried to blame it on my tinted windows (which makes no sense), and the last time I called to tell them that it was still making the awful noise, the service manager got pretty rude with me and exclaimed that he couldn't diagnose "every little wind noise", and that I'd probably just have to live with it. Similar to others in this thread, when it made the noise, I could eliminate it by pushing on the window. I started by adhering the window seal to the door frame by using black silicone adhesive, thinking that wind was getting around the window seal. That didn't work. Then, I bought some in-channel vent visors, thinking I could redirect the wind around the seals. Nope, still made the noise. I finally taped over the door seal one morning when leaving work (effectively taping the door shut...I climbed in from the passenger side). To my amazement, I drove home (an hour commute) with NO 'KAZOO' NOISE. I came home and found this thread and saw where a couple others had placed something behind the door seal (making the seal tighter) to eliminate the noise. This makes sense. I think the door seals that Toyota is using are too thin. So here we go:

I went to Autozone and found this stuff for $10. It has an adhesive backing.
    IMG_0947_zpsyucafccb_29ea5f15ac4ce930a39798a7ca89f9e6a2e9884a.jpg IMG_0947_zpsyucafccb_29ea5f15ac4ce930a39798a7ca89f9e6a2e9884a.jpg

I actually had to cut it in half because it's too wide. I placed it behind the door seal, here:
    IMG_0948_zpsniis47cd_8ae89ab106f36b533018f98f90b5768b8304f265.jpg

Then I ran a strip the entire length of the top of the door seal, from where the door meets the A post to the B post. Here it is:
    IMG_0949_zpsodnuq90m_bc71a14de4d2e6a5e6be3f0985da7e0139d6dd37.jpg

And here's how it looks with the door closed and the extra seal installed. You can't even tell.

I took my '15 in yesterday to the local dealer for an unrelated issue. While I was there, I asked if they had heard of this issue and they said yes. The guy in service told me there is a TSB coming out regarding the issue. Don't know if this is true or not, but that's what they told me.

Been meaning to post what I discovered. You're right about the upper door seal. I was riding with my brother to deer camp and it was making the kazoo noise constantly. He heard where it was coming from and jammed my parking pass from work up there. Boom! Kazoo stopped.

I don't know if it is the inner seal attached to the cab or the outer seal attached to the door itself. I rode shotgun and messed with it myself. You can jam your fingers up in the crack and feel the vibration. Feels like the lower inner seal but could be the thinner outer one just transferring vibes. Now that we know where it's at, I'm going to try some of the weather seal options mentioned here. Hopefully Toyota steps up and gets us some newly engineered door seals.

It's the seal on the door.
