It's wild how much that makes it look like a 2nd gen from the side.

 

I'm not sure if someone has asked before in a different thread but how do you like your Nittos so far? I've heard some mixed reviews on them with wear and noise but a lot of positive as well. I was originally going to go with KO2s but I have an oppertunity to get the Nittos at $160 each.

 

I've gone stealth. Truth is I like the color so much on this truck why cover some of it up with a decal. However, per your point, a knowledgeable Tacomavite will know the color Inferno is a 2016, I think.

 

Dipped my badges and started my grille mod.

 

Oh yea she's definitely distinguishable as a 16, I was just surprised at what a difference it made. Red trucks are my favorite, looks good man!

 

Did you just tape it off and spray them?

 

I used a piece of cardboard as a mask and blue painters tape. 4 coats of plasti dip and just peeled it off the truck.

I like the look but I'll probably debadge it and paint them permanently. The plasti dip leaves a bit of a rough texture.

 

What color did you apply? Gunmetal gray?

I cant get clean lines on mine. Maybe I'm doing too many coats.

 

It's black. The lighting is just weird.

 

If you put it on too thick it gets thicker than the tape holding on the badge then it tears off the emblem. I find 4 is max, 3 thick ones is almost too much.

That's effing nice! I keep forgetting how much I want to get some lights on my Tacoma when she comes in.

 

Thanks, I have always had the lifetimes lightbars. They are half the price, but junk compared to the Rigid IMO

 

I love them! Super quiet for an AT, great ride and they look badass.

 

I drove the White Knight in the snow for the first time yesterday...location Aurora, CO. Snowed about 8 inches in my area.

 

How hard did you have to pull on the tail lights after taking the 2 bolts (4 total) out? I really don't want to break anything
