    :D I was concerned with not having a winch & the 886's being too stiff but.......my sliders may make up for it......they are double the size of the normal sliders.

    Here is a 2' or 3' long Firestik on a spring mounted to a RelentlessFab hood bracket. I can't remember the length of the one shown and my truck is parked inside my shop at the other house right now so I can't measure it. I'm going to be putting an antenna for a Wilson mobile phone signal booster on that side and a Diamond 2meter antenna on the driver side.

    I strongly recommend the spring if you mount yours in the same place as without it you will find that it's a real ball-ache to try to get the wiper arm up when you want to clean the windshield and when a large limb bends it back without the spring it makes a terrible noise.

    Makes sense. I'm a coward and I have a big ass camper on the back, so having them up front helps me decide if I need to stop advancing down the trail. Antennas can be bent back or replaced but I don't know a damn thing about fiberglass repair.
