    And this is why I love these big hulking bumpers, they can cause, prevent and take a wrecking and your rig is still pretty much untouched!

    I would have LOVED to watch the ladies face as she got out of the car expecting just to see some minor damage lol.

    Just placed my order, now I have to wait 8-10weeks and its going to be a long wait lol :(

    Probably would've been just as scrape without the D-ring catching hold.

    Love both of those benefits hahaha and ups your manliness a lot if you ask me. When you live in a beach city like me where everyone your age drives minis or older beamers you really stand out in a tacoma.. especially if you add on one of these. Dare to be different!

    Workin' on it....
    I was debating between steel and aluminum but leaning towards aluminum because:

    1. Less impact on mpg
    2. Not planning on a suspension upgrade for another year or two

    Nice to see the aluminum bumper can take a hit!!!

    Big :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

    I'll do aluminum on a lot of things, but front and back bumper are what I definitely wanted steel. Rear bumper for sure when the time comes. But maybe thats just because I think I'm taller than I am and keep dragging anything on the rear end... heh Which reminds me.... still need to fix my broken plug that I drug on the last trip.

    Did anyone else need to trim the holes in their alum. skid to make it fit? The rear holes didn't line up very well with mine. Maybe about an 1/8 off. Had to get the file out.

    One hole, rear-passenger if I remember, needed just a very slight touch.

    Too poor to list anything interesting.
    Has anyone tried to put their OEM fog lights into the front plate bumper? I've seen a few write ups on how to do it, but for different bumpers. I wondered if it was about the same with Pelfrey's, or just not worth the effort and to just buy some aftermarket ones.

    Probably worth the upgrade anyway. While the oem fogs are actually decent, new led fogs coming out are impressive.
