Y'all got me thinking about leaf springs!
Question...can you cut the ends off of a single leaf without hurting the leaf itself?? I ask because I have a brand new set of 4" springs for a '89 Yota, but the second leaf is wrapped around the end of the mains.

Paid 400 and no didn't get the extra leaf cause I didn't want the ride to be stiff. They're pretty damn sturdy without the extra add a leaf in them for us 3" guys that just carry a bed rack and rtt and rear bumper

 

I've got a little over 7k in my truck just in October and November so I need to stay away from TW guys for a while y'all are bad influences.

 

See...you could try something like this and use everything except the main leaf. If it worked, it'd be a cheap solution. I'd probably try to find 4" lift springs though.

My thing is if you're going to spend 500 on the dakars and still have to add a block or something in rear to get it up a little higher why not just save up a little longer and get the alcan leafs so you don't have to add a block or anything in rear
