Like the title says, when it comes between the TRD Off Road vs the TRD Sport? The dealer near me said it's the hood, that maybe the case but aren't the tires different ?

I'll be first because I'm nice.

Sport has hood skewp, street tires on 17s, TRAC all around, color matched everything.
Off Road has off roadier tires, rear locker, CC, ATRAC, MTS, black flares, and chrome bumper

Should also be noted that the sport is available in an extended cab and double cab with the manual transmission while the off road is only available in the double cab configuration if you want the manual

bunch of stuff - Bro Pro style
Tires and wheels, hood, differential on the AT - manual I think comes with the auto locking diff.

That and you get different choices with interior as well.

Different suspension parts too - Bilstein shocks on the OR, but the sport I think has a slightly stiffer ride which I prefer.

There's probably others but off the top of my head those are some.

Sounds like the dealer near me. I had already done a bunch of research and knew all the differences, I was just testing the salesperson. I asked her what is the differences between SR5 and Sport. She replies, just the hood scoop and wheels. I said, really, can we put them side by side and compare interiors also. After about 10 minutes letting her figure out what was different, I left.

Do your research before going to a dealership. Most of these sales people dont have a clue about the product. This forum has a wealth of information about this truck. All sales people want to do is make a sale

I stopped doing this after about 5 dealerships. When I would go in, I would only ask about 7568. I knew what I wanted; I did my research. They couldn't tell me anything different about the trucks except for opinions, which were usually wrong. Like a guy told me the Sport was softer than the Off Road. I was like NOPE

He's lazy and doing research, to him, is asking us questions and not doing a search.
