I tried that with my 12. Didn't work. There was constant power through both wires. Maybe it's 2012s? I don't have the ability to turn off my dtrl, unlike newer models

But I'm glad it's working for everyone!

Not sure about the 12, but I have the ability to turn off the DRL using my headlight stalk(2013 sport). I think there was an issue with the 12's and the DRL's... melting the lens? they have since corrected the issue.

yes, I used a light with two wires on it to test all the functions of the DRL plug, there are two common wires that both r&l DRL's use and one odd color wire on both sides I labeled them on my radiator core support for future reference. The odd color wire is full power, (DRL location on the headlight stalk) and the common wires are a lower power setting (running/parking lights).

Alright - so that didn't work? I wired my DS halo to the yellow for power and white as ground. I wired the PS to blue for power and white for ground. And nothing

****scratch that it worked. The truck had to be on?****

Way better for the life of the halo - the halo turns of when the actual projector goes on, so now (like suggested) the halo isn't on when the projector is and will extend the life of the halo

Do I have to wire the yellow xsb wire to the yellow DTRL wire also?

Yes. That yellow wire needs a voltage to make your xsb switchback to function as a switchback. Use a multimeter and find a wire that sends a pulse everytime you use your turn signals.
