First Toyota Truck

Semi-retired, sold my F250 back in August, but had truck withdrawal symptoms.
Found a 2015 Tacoma PreRunner SR5 with 5000 miles at a recent Ritchie Brothers auction. It hit a pole dead on and was rebuilt with a salvage/rebuild title here in Texas. Crawled all over it and found no leaks/dents or obvious flaws. At auction I bought it for $17,500. That seemed to be a screaming bargain. Drove it home from Houston, runs good, goes straight, no complaints other that some indicator lights that ought to shut off after the truck starts.
It has an Entune Audio Plus that I would like to upgrade to include Navigation. I've been reading the threads about upgrading with equipment from FLTruck. Are they still around?

As far as your question about FLTrucks, I think he's still around but from what I read up while doing some research to accomplish what you are looking to do as well, seems like he only gets them once in a while. Not to mention that I'm sure there is a 'waiting list" already.

Your best bet is to keep an eye out on the for sale section of the forum and see if someone posts one for sale, or you can post a thread that you're in search of one (WTB) and see if anyone contacts you. That's how I did it and was lucky enough that someone had one and was willing to sell it.

Good luck with the truck and with the Nav search. It's well worth it in my opinion.

 

Thanks, I'll keep an eye peeled. Turns out I'm also looking for some replacement airbags. Apparently the safety inspection for a salvage/Rebuilt title in Texas doesn't require airbags. That'll be expensive, but for what I paid I can afford to put some dollars into the project.
