How you guys planning on mounting them? Having the short bed and bed rack really limits my options unless I make some custom mounts and raise it so it can protrude over the cab...

Hahaha, yeah there's that, but I really don't care for the look of roof racks.

So I got my Mt Shasta bottom rails put on and cover. What is the green rope used for? Also have left over hardware (the small screws and washers) where are those supposed to go? I also think i got one with extra holes drilled where the ladder attaches to. Thanks!

1.The green rope is to stake down your overhang.
2.Self tapping screws per photo above.
3.That is for our wider ladders.

    Picture of said green rope?

The leftover screws are probably the self tapping screws to attach the mounting rails to the metal frame along the edge of the tent at either end of the rails.
And there are two types of ladders, they are different widths so maybe the tent comes predrilled for either option?

Ah okay thanks! And thank you! I look forward to a whole new camping experience.

Cascadia Tents answered the question just above your post but thank you. I don't have a picture of the rope because I left it inside and tent and its now stored away in the garage
