LED headlights aren't quite what they need to be yet. You'd be better off with a better quality bulb setup for the timw being. Eventually aftermarket LEDs will be good enough. There's a few threads on the forum.

from the research i have done and the people i have talked to, look into some H4 ETI LED 2S Bulbs. These are designed for headlights, and from what i have seen have great output. You would be better doing them in projector housing but they will work in regular housings and give great output. Also there is a guy on here that made a DIY for a reflector bucket out of copper pipe that fits on the end of the bulb that gets rid of all the glare that most people complain about of brighter bulbs in stock housings. I plan on doing them myself soon when money allows

A lot of the big issues with LEDs is life expectancy and high beams being almost non existent. The lows are bright, but that's about where it ends.

Honestly....The real problem is not brightness. It's that I installed a lightbar. The Led's are a bright white and it makes the fogs and headlights look all yellow and stupid.

I know, but mine is behind the lower grille and pointed sort of down. AND like most Tacoma owners...I'm just a tiny bit OCD about my truck. I just want everything to look good and the OEM lights look bad when lit up next to the bar.

If your goal is just to match the color, you can buy halogens in a matching 5k kelvin range for far cheaper. This was just the first hit by google:
    http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Diamond-Vision-Halogen-Bulbs/dp/B007K6E2TM

Coated bulbs are not great as they filter out light spectrum, but it will give you the color you want. If you want more light, you can do this instead, but it is a pure performance based upgrade, not for cool looking bulb colors:

I followed the link to Amazon for the halogens. That's probably the way I'd go. Doesn't say they will fit my truck though? Not really looking for cool looking bulbs, just white.

The trucks technically take 9003 headlights. The 9003 and H4 bulbs are interchangeable. It short it is an American (9003) vs European (H4) bulb labeling thing. I'm running H4s, I can guarantee you H4s will work in your truck.

Yes, it looks like the same bulbs are available in H11 (2012+ fog light bulb).
