And I really just have to reiterate that pictures just do not do this color justice. I remember seeing it on a TRD Pro model a year ago and loving it, but when it came time to get this Tacoma I couldn't tell by the pictures of the Inferno '16's if I really liked it or not. So happy I went with this and not MGM or Silver which were my other two considerations

Hey everyone, this is my first post on here and I just wanted To say hi to everyone and for anyone having second thoughts about the inferno, don't decide based on pictures. Tonight I went to the dealership to trade in one of my cars for a new Tacoma and I knew I would have to wait for them to find me the right color. As I was pulling up the delivery was coming in with a brand new inferno off road with the black steps and roof rack, I never thought of getting this color but I was in love and 2 hours later it's sitting in my driveway. The color is beautiful and the black touches make it really pop. Any ways I wanted to say hi and pass my advice on to others.

Pretty much just what I said haha. It's one of those colors you have to see in person.

It's easy for me. I love orange. I got the orange dash trim and seat stitching too

My only hesitation when buying it was resale value and how the color would affect it. I asked the people at the dealership and they said that it will not affect the resale value or diffuculty of selling it but I wasn't sure and I though they were selling me on the car so they would tell me anything. What are some thoughts on this? The one guy said that they get more calls for the inferno than other colors, was this a sales pitch or is it true. Regardless I don't car cause I love this thing but I just want to know if this is in fact true. Thanks

Resale value, why worry about that. It's a Toyota, you will be driving that thing for many years, and then you can pass it on to your grandchild.

Hello all, I've been looking around here for some time now and finally decided to post. I currently own a 2013 Pyrite Mica TRD Sport and am ready to take delivery of a 2016 TRD Offroad Inferno tomorrow and I have to say that I am seriously starting to second guess myself with this color... It looks incredible at times but then I cant see myself owning a truck that color and then I see the trucks posted on this thread. My dealer has no other TRD Off Roads in stock and the few that will be coming in do not have the options this one has. Not sure what to do about these cold feet I feel like a groom the night before the wedding..lol

I could not agree with you more. Got to see one at the dealer a couple of weeks ago in direct sunlight. My jaw dropped! You have to see it in person and in sunlight. Truly stunning.

I run my KO2's 40 cold, so more like 45 when they're completely warm. Never had a problem on my last KO's on the Sierra (old one, close weight to the tacoma) I had 62K on those and have 5K on these ones. Was running them at 35 cold and I did not like the feel of the handling and braking at all. Now that they're pumped up they feel way better. Don't foresee any problems with wear either. Passed the chalk test as well as seeing the wear pattern on the old tires.

I never considered this color at all until I saw mine. I like silver vehicles but I couldn't say no to this one. First, I was shocked at how much I liked the color, shocked. Second, I immediately had to get over the fact that I'm a Patriots fan in Denver driving an orange truck. To each their own. I haven't thought twice about purchasing this color and find myself peeking in the garage just to look at it.

Thanks man I really appreciate it. No I put a black gloss paint on it. I like how the inferno is real shiny and wanted to keep that effect but without so much chrome. So a shiny black paint with three layers of clear coat.

Can you please give a list of all the changes you made and possibly some details on the appearance mods. I love the truck, I really like the blacked out Tacoma badges. Awesome job.

Its a readylift. The tires are 285/65/18 nitto trail grapplers. I had to trim a little of the front air damn.

Did the 4x4 badge on the tailgate come on the truck ? Or did you add it. I started a thread about that, and it was decided that the 4x4 didn't come on the sports and off roads. If your did....I feel cheated ! lol
