Mine is leaking like crazy from all sides......

The seal is flush with the bed rail and its just pouring water on all sides. Extremely disappointed with my purchase. The only difference I see between the 2015 and 2016 is that the cover does not extend to the edge of the bed rail on the 2016.

I've tried re-positioning and ensuring the seals are not folded or wrinkled. The cover is tight, but not overly tight.

We had a mild rain tonight and I had a few drips through my Trifecta as well. It's really well seated and there are no gaps that I can see light through during daylight. I am thinking that the texture on the bed rail has something to do with it. I have a rubber bed mat and the water doesn't get on top of that. It runs down the sides and under the mat, hopefully to the drain holes.

Update: Got about 2" of rain overnight. Had some pretty good leakage. It looks like the majority of the leakage is from the fold points. The water is in the bed rails and spreading through the bed. I'm a bit disappointed with the cover. Extang covers themselves by saying they are not "water proof" but only water resistant. I had a roll up cover on my Tundra that was way more resistant that this.

We also had some good rain amounts and I only had a very small amount of leakage around the front where the bed gaps exist. I would recommend applying some Dielectric Grease to the rubber gasket and that should help reduce the amount of water leaking in.

Won't dielectric grease cause the gasket to swell?

I have never heard of that happening. I used it on my T-top gaskets for 7 years and never had a problem with leaks or swelling. It will also help with the gaskets drying out. I use the stuff on all of my camper gaskets and I will also use a good silicon spray on the door gaskets and such.

OK.. after a good rain last nite, my solid fold 2.0 only had a small amount of water near the tailgate. Just the rear 24" from the tailgate...Looks like it came in under the gasket... I torqued the rear pull-down clamps 2 full turns (they did seem a tad loose)... I'll see what happens tonite...

This is what I think it will take for the Solid Fold 2.0 to be leak free. This and filling the stupid cracks that Toyota forgot to engineer. After this, we should have a product as good as the Bak Flip without the stupid frame system mounted to the bed. As soon as these are available, I plan to purchase.

That was what I'm thinking also... By sticking that stuff to the bed, it will seal the roughness and also leave a small ridge that water will have to travel "over" to get in.

Yeah, they have some at Rona/Home Depot that is exactly like that. It's like $15.00 for 30 feet of it. I'm going to see how dry the bed is after the next rain and if water is still making its way in significantly this will be my next move!

Mine doesn't leak, at least so far. I went thru a brushless car wash right after I installed it and then had a couple of hours of rain the next day. The bed stayed dry. Aaronp18 asked for some pics of how it's situated so here there are..

I do want to move the whole thing up towards the cab about a half an inch. The rear brackets are right at the end of the bed rails. So far back as a matter of fact that the rail end plugs aren't fully seated back in. If I move the whole thing forward just a tad I can probably move the brackets in enough to get the rail plugs fully seated.

I'm not sure I'm 100% satisfied with it, but it does what I need it to do and it looks pretty good. Ideally, I'd think Extang could make it one inch longer overall and half an inch wider.

I don't have a 16 yet mine is a 13 with a extang tri fold no leakage what I would try to stop the water leakage is go to a shop that sells canopy for trucks and buy a roll of tape they use when they install canopy. The tape will stick on your bed rails only sticky on one side and its 1/4 thick.

OK, we got a good rain last nite, then a 14" snowfall.....!! I checked it and the tighter handles did the trick... no H2o in the bed this morning....!!

I guess you have to keep torqueing the top till you get it "just right"...!! Don't over-do it, as the Mf'r warns...
