Yes I live in flagstaff Arizona, it is snowing as I write this. Which meanings it is probably dumping up at my work. Forecasted to get 6 inches in town and up to a foot up on the mountain.

Thank you elytravis for the info, very helpful.

What size did you get? I tried to get my local DT to match 4WP price and they shot me down. And the local store wouldn't honor the DTD eBay coupon either. Luckily they restocked the 285/75r16 before the $100 off $400 purchase ended. I got mine shipped to the house for $712 and then mounted/balanced for $60.

It's not the ride that'll bug you, it'll be the weight. Trust me ;) don't get me wrong, I love mine, but I wouldn't complain if they went on a diet.

100% agree... it feels a little doggy compared to my 2004 TJ with similar sized P-rated Cooper AT3s... and that engine has less torque and 190hp lol

That being said, bumps don't really seem to slow you down when you have heavy tires. It gives our little tacos that "MONSTURRR TRUCK!!!!!!!" feel. I dig it.

Yeah, I think a real offroad suspension would really make it feel great with heavy tires working against some cushy Bilstein 6112s

What are folks running these at for pressure? I just got a set of 265/75r16s put on today and they were *really* rough. When I realized they installed at 40psi I aired down to 34 and they feel much better.

    Has anyone chalk tested them?

    Thanks,
    B.

EDIT: I learned search. Sounds like most folks running at 35.

Check the 3rd gen forum. Pretty much all the 2016 TRD sport owners who have gotten KO2s went with 265/70r17 (and similarly with TRD OR owners going to 265/75r16).

As with any wheel....you should ALWAYS run the air pressure the vehicle recommends. Will be inside the door jam of the truck.

Only true if you're using and oem tire. If you're using a heavier ply tire that pressure is no longer accurate.
