    in general, it's really really hard to get hurt with DC current. the welding itself is more hazardous than the fact that you're using car batteries.

    I do that too but only on Saturday's. Monday through Friday I am up at 5:15 to be to work by 7.

    ugh ^ I love to drive, but hate to commute. gotta be at work at 6 every day, but I only live 10 minutes down the road. last think I need after a 12+ hour day is a long drive home

    Yup. I work 7am to 5pm Mon through Fri, 5am-9am Sat and I average just under 3 hours round trip daily, 120 miles a day.

    I want your hours. I work from 6am to 6pm 5 days a week, and then 6am to 3pm most Saturdays. however, I do not envy your commute.

    True story, my "commute" is a 15min drive down some windy back roads, wouldn't change that for anything.

    Lol ive got a 40 min commute and still get the cops called on me. I can't deal with potatos on the roadways anymore. I miss Afghanistan's rules of the road lol

    I use to have a 8 minute commute, literally was 3.2 miles. Most days I road my bicycle. But where my house was was in a rough area, with no yard or garage. I tried to stay on this side of the pond but to get what I got on the Eastern shore here would have been $400k easily compared to the $168k that I paid over there.
