Plenty of info on the net. "Horsepasture road", Jim Timmerman jocassee gorges". They are just dirt trails. It's mostly just a nature thing like Cam said.

I've been trying to ask around at work about the area, but I've been so busy. I know I've heard people talk about it, but I can't remember who.

 

Likely just offshoots. There's tons of them.

 

I did find a good source at work about horse pasture and bad creek, but I didn't have time to talk much about it today. I will be getting a lot more info next week. He mentioned a gate going to bad creek that opens when you pull up to it.

I do think the earlier the better. Sun goes down quick in the mountains, especially in the winter, ask me how I know.
