    Afternoon all:
Good luck on the hunting Zack! Those inline muzzleloaders are deadly, just don't push the shot and make that one shot count.

50 cal lol. we have been using 100g of triple 7 powder, but we have gone all the way thru a deer more than once. going to try and go down to 80 grains of powder. we don’t shoot more than 50 maybe max 100 yards with them. try and save the longer shots for the high power rifles.

I sometime forget, but the shoulder is usually a better shot than just behind it. I prefer to shoot just behind the shoulder with a rifle, and on the shoulder with the ML.
You allowed to use Sabots? I use nothing but the longer magnum Sabot, with a .44 or .45 XTP Hornady pistol bullet in it for both the .50 inline and the .54 flintlock.
I tried 80 gr. BP in mine, seems like it shot the best with 120 gr. Also tried lighter loads in the .54 FL, that also shot the best with 120 gr, but each gun is different and depends on components being used.
    >"DO NOT" use bore butter when using Sabots<. Don't know if you know that. That is directly from Traditions, and if you read the TC manual it will also tell you that. It's made for a patch and round ball and can cause problems when used with plastic Sabots.

Yes, I ALWAYS win too...and yes, it is kind of a strange place, but FUN! Us people from HI love to cut loose & have fun; guess that's why Las Vegas is the official 9th Hawaiian island.

I actually went to see the UH vs. UNLV football game. Unfortunately our team sucks.

Carl, I actually expected to lose some $, as I haven't lost any in the last few trips. BUT, next one I'm hitting the Megabucks. And don't worry, if I do, all the beer will be on me! Sasparilla too!

Just saw an article on CNN Money where a lady from Mass. hit a second 1M scratch off lottery ticket from the same store. The odds: 1 in 2.6 trillion!
Some people are just lucky, me: "if it weren't for my bad luck, I'd have no luck at all"!

Today we start to gear up for Thanksgiving. Concentrating on the outside of the house today. Tomorrow is bathrooms. Monday is Kitchen. Tuesday is all the other rooms. Wednesday is a once over on the bathrooms and start to cook the meal.

Wife wants to put up the outdoor wreath this weekend. Ladder job that takes two of us to handle. I guess the holiday season really is upon us...

The only snow around here is on my chin. I tend to shave less often when I'm not working. :anonymous:

A little snow to my north but nothing here. Hope it stays away a few more weeks.
