@BadBrains hey for the wiring harness, this one looks like the one I need to get, has all the circuits that I want/need to make the truck street legal. But the only thing im wondering about is the fact that is says its a universal harness but says works with GM keyed columns, but it should still work on the way I need it to correct?

Linky no worky. However the "GM compatability" thing would probably refer to how the relays switch, power/ground layout. Should be fine, you'll modify it where needed to match Toyota's wiring diagram.
You'll need pins, the proper crimper, and probably a few replacement plugs. We know you'll need headlight plugs for one.

Whew...$520 bucks, damn, didn't think they were that pricey.

Can always go low dollar and get a big-ass spool of wire and a junkyard fuse panel, or rebuild yours.

may end up just doing that lol, not really wanting to spend the $520 on the wiring harness when i can spend that on a Hobart 140 welder setup

gonna agree on the at2s. I've had them for about 3 months with 0 complaints. General just had a 70$ mail in rebate too. Pretty sure it's over now though

well....I just made a purchase on a Hobart 140 MIG welder and accessories and a whole bunch of things for the 1980. Gonna do what you suggested there @BadBrains and do the low dollar wiring harness idea, gonna pick up a 12 circuit blue sea fuse panel and use that and also bought 200ft of 14 gauge wiring

Nice. A label maker might be a good idea.
