How did you get 4" from 886? I put on 887s which are taller and got about 3" before I put skids on.

As I recall 886's are rated at close to 2.5" or so.

With 886 coils and zero added weight up front and using OME Nitrosport shocks up front "Over Speed Bump Goes Clank" is a common complaint. Rear back a couple pages on this thread and you'll find it.

Interesting. Highly variable then. I did 887's with Nitro Sports and LR UCA. Crazy that you got an inch more than me.

I had Over speed bump goes clank with Sway Bay on...

Took off Sway Bar and no Over speed bump goes clank...

My sway bar was hitting the coil while going over speed bumps making the clank.

Thanks, although I'm already up to speed on OSBGC. This query had to do with the swaybar.

Very interesting! I'm not sure why that would be but I'm sure someone will have a hypothesis soon enough.

Need some advice, getting a plate bumper and winch soon and thus my OME setup will need to change. I currently have 885X coils on the 90000 struts, hate this setup, it's way over-dampened and I get a nasty thump going over the bumps. Thinking about keeping the 90000 struts, but upgrading to the 886X. My two questions are: any chance this will get rid of the thump AND will the 886X get me a full 3" of lift even with the plate bumper?? The 885X gets me just about 2" with a stock DCSB.

Thanks for any help you can provide, I'd like to give OME another shot rather than just buy icons.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Are you going to be running a winch as well? I think you'll need the top plate spacers to get the full 3", even with the 886. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I imagine a winch will be involved as well, I'll edit my post.

With no spacers I have a little over 2.5" with my 886s. Bumper, winch, skids.
