    Ordered my BBP DCSB SPORT on October 9th......still waiting. Got an ARE V series truck cap....that arrived 3 weeks ago. Ordered Vision Fury wheels today, black with blue tint.....those will be in on monday....probably will still be waiting on the truck then.

    Just joined the club. Put a deposit down today on a Magnetic Gray DCSB OR 4x4 with premium tech and tow package. Dealer is supposed to call me Friday and let me know if there is one available or if it will have to be built. This is my graduation present to myself and will be a big change from my '98 p.o.s-stang (Mustang).

    Thanks! It's been a long 4.5 years but I'm finally down to my last 4 classes before finals. Been looking at tacomas for 2 years now and just couldn't justify buying one and parking it on my college campus for it to get all banged up. Then last year when I heard about a possible redesign I had to wait to see how it looked. Now that I have 3 weeks till graduation I figured it was about time to pull the trigger and get out of my college beater.

    Because we are writing about everything in here...

    We placed our order for the allocated 7568 last night. Today I had my first formal evaluation of my tenure year. Was very nervous today for the observation portion but my evaluator said I did a good job after it was over. She said I didn't have anything to worry about. I was very happy after that. One more evaluation in February and I'll be tenured for as long as I teach in the district.... We can't meet to have our post observation meeting until after Thanksgiving break, but it will be positive.

    So my purchase of the truck when it comes in to the dealership was kind of depending on the outcome of my evaluation.

    My salesman has been great with communication. My truck was just built this past Saturday and I received another update this morning:

    Your Tacoma was loaded and is in transit. It was on the railcar in Clovis New Mexico yesterday. Shipment to dealer is expected around December 1st. I will follow up in a few days with another update. I hope you are doing GREAT!

    Wish I had a dealer that gave me updates. Our trucks are on the same train, since I knew it was on a train in Clovis, NM. Its on the BNSF railway, but I can't find a 'track a train' . I have one friend that works for a competing line that couldn't help me track that train. I live in the Chi town area, but my last eta was 11/25, I hope it isn't 12/5 like yours is.

    Right now I'm waiting for the guy tracking by VINs to give me an update lol. I only just got a temp VIN from my dealer, and was told my build date is 11/24. I really just want this truck before X-mas, and before all the snow comes.
