Honestly, I've been wanting to get some for myself but I keep blowing it off so please tell us what you think of them. I know they aren't the most secure locks on the market but having the convenience of using the ignition key really makes them desirable.

I completely understand. I hate getting poked in the leg by keys, rubbing holes in my pockets, and having a big wad jangling everywhere I go. I geeked out and bought a Keyport for my main keys and I really dig it. I have the older V1 Keyport now and with it you had to sacrifice one key slot for your trucks ignition chip. I finally decided to upgrade to the newer V2 model - being shipped to me now - that frees up that key slot by putting the ignition chip into a molded sideplate. They are allot less expensive now than they were at first but to me they are definitely worth it.

Here is a basic diagram of the older model - the new one has a few new features - that shows some of the options.

And yes secret santas, they do offer gift cards.

I have been drooling over these for the last year plus. It would be nice to have all my keys, even when I am on the bike.

I'm going to retire my V1 model soon so if you want, I can mail the housing to you and then you can order your necessary blades from Keyport to fill it.

Yeah they are pretty thick though and if someone really wants something, as I've seen first hand, they'll cut anything
