Ha thanks! When I put all of it in I was surprised on how well everything looked. Still need to fine tune everything to fit nicely.

Just wired two of mine up! I can't help but keep switching the lights on and off for no reason just because it feels so awesome to flip these switches

Currently have wheelers progressive 1.5 AAL on with the overload left on. Thinking of getting the Toytec adjustable shackles for more lift. Anyone know how this would affect up and down travel? I know I will to get longer shocks but I'll have to wait until the shackles are on before I can measure.

If you take the dash apart for an LED swap you can carefully separate and re-seal it. I did when I painted my needles.

Steer clear of shackles. Worst way to lift the rear besides blocks.

They essentially have no effect on travel, as all you're doing is changing the mounting point, and the lateral length of your springs can only use the throw of a stock shackle. They also preload your springs, rotate your axle, increase the chance of axle wrap, move the axle forward, etc.

How did you re-seal it? Silicone or something?

Honestly I used hot glue :anonymous: but a silicone or epoxy would definitely be better. The good part about hot glue is that it's easy to break the seal again if I needed to go back and do something again. (which I did).:homer:

Thank you. Guess I won't be touching them. Maybe I'll try the OMD spring refurbishing instead. Prob be the same price.

Probably cheaper actually. I picked up a set of leafs off a '91 S-10 from a pick and pull for $44. Then built an awesome set of leafs with a lot of help from @BDN.

    Went from this mess:

Man. That looks a lot better. What leafs did you switch out? I was thinking of switching out the second leaf and seeing if I could keep my 3 leaf AAL.

Well, that was not an OEM leaf pack I started with. It was an Alcan (Wheeler's 5 pack plus AAL). Have 3 alcan leafs and 3 chevy leafs. It's not an exact science. If I were starting with Toyota leafs though, I would want to ditch as many of those as possible.

Pretty much what I did. Mines a wheelers 5 pack plus their Aal plus a skyjacker leaf.

Mine is Alcan too. However wheelers no longer uses ALCAN to make their springs and haven't for about 3 years. Kinda sad. They are India imports.
