My DCORSBAT 4x4v6 Quicksand was ordered on October 17 and was scheduled to be built today, November 18. Will check on Friday for the dates of the delivery stream and when it should arrive here in Bellevue, WA.

Ordered her on 9/7. She was born on 11/12. Picked her up tonight 11/19. I'm smiling as I post this. The smile hasn't left my face since I first laid eyes on her. Meet Sandy.

1.jpg Test Drove a quicksand TRD off road with the black fender flares, and it wasn't for me, but once I saw the TRD Sport with the full color fenders, I had to have it. It grows on me more and more everyday!!!

I chose Quicksand because I like it and because I have owned a car in all the other Tacoma colors (Inferno=Orangish)...I chose the OffRoad because here in the northwest the extra off road capabilities can be seriously used especially the rear locker...there are no bad Tacoma's or colors, just personal choices & preferences...

Does anyone have a link to these parts or can tell me how much lift you gain from this setup? And what does the acronym tc stand for? I'm new to the taco world

TC stands for Total Chaos Fabrication. I called up @ToyTec Lifts and had a kit pieced together that suits my needs, and will allow a conversion to LT in the future. They're extremely helpful, and have done me right on four Tacomas. This kit should get you ~3".

When you go three inches are there any drivetrain modifications that need to be done... To counter any problems or is that what the uca's are for?

I have to say I loathed the color when they revealed it in January. I knew which color I wasn't getting. The more pictures I saw, the more it grew on me. The fact that this color hasn't been seen on a Toyota Truck in quite some time made it that much more alluring. The blue this year is new but it's a shade or two different than the previous blue. Albeit a very pretty color in person. Love the quicksand though. I know I made the right choice.

Toytec will supply differential drop spacers, sway bar relocation spacers (I'll eventually loose the swaybar altogether) and rear axle shims to correct driveline angles. The TC upper control arms allow better range of motion and better range for alignment. Someone that is good with alignments can either match or get extremely close to factory spec with factory upper control arms. I chose these so I can grab some other parts from TC to convert to long travel in the spring.
