"Can I pledge to a single project more than once?
On Kickstarter, it is only possible to pledge to each project once from a single account. Accordingly, backers can only choose one reward tier per pledge. However, you can change your pledge amount and reward selection for as long as a project is live"
From Kickstarter FAQ. so maybe make a second account??

This ^ So if they offer that package, go to "Manage your Pledge" or something like that, and you can change you pledge to a different package that better suits you. Otherwise, you can create a secondary account and pledge again. A lot of people do that to better customize their orders.

After some more reading I see they have a lifetime warranty. Hopefully this would apply to any manufacturing defects or bugs on the first run?

I believe it does. I remember reading somewhere that they have a base/warehouse or something along those lines in CA. Any issues, you send them there and they replace them. At least cuts down on wait times for any return to get to/from Australia.

I was reading that depending on the issue they will just require pictures that way you don't have to pay for freight cost when shipping from another state. Then they will send out new ones and you keep the old ones too

Better to ask what I have not done.
^^^^ correct. Most the times if you send them pictures they can deem them replaceable and they will send you new ones. If you have to ship them in you pay for it going there and they will pay for them coming back.

I backed for the 4 boards and mounting kit. Then used another email for the second mounting kit.

I would also ask opinions on why people that are getting the bag are. I don't see what I would use them for.

I considered the bag, but rather have my recovery gear inside the rig and I also plan to mount my tracks on my PrInSu.

My thoughts too. The boards will be mounted on my rack and all the other things gave their one place on the truck. The only idea I had would to be putting grommets where the pegs in the mounts would go threw and help keep the sun off the boards.....

Yes, a roof rack will easily hold 4 boards. As will prob any rack since the boards stack. Lots of different ways to mount.

Just a few expensive & DIY things...
Not heard good things about the Smittybuilt ones. YMMV
Plus the new Treds have a Lifetime warranty, pretty impressive for a product that gets such an important task and brutal one at that.

My 1st gen Treds are still holding up well.
