Next time you go let me know I'll meet you out there, and yes lots of 4x4's. Trucks jeeps tacos. All kinds. I'm right down the road on 4th ave. Used to be a cool hill to climb on 7th street but there are signs now

Had a free morning, so went back to Bulldog Canyon. I was hoping it'd be a little more wet after the rain last weekend, but it was still fun.IMAG0392.jpg IMAG0376.jpg IMAG0386.jpg IMAG0390.jpg IMAG0366.jpg

It does require 4L in a few spots, but it's not difficult. It's a good trail if you're by yourself; you don't have to worry about damage, or getting stuck. I like going in the Usery Pass gate, and usually exit at the Wolverine gate. It takes a couple of hours if I'm taking my time.

Wish I could, this morning went by too fast, but I'm not off again until Friday.

It is easy to get the permit. And if I remember correctly, every vehicle/driver needs to have gotten it.

From the Usery Pass entrance out to FS10 (about 4 miles), it is mostly sandy. I usually turn off the traction control and go through the sand in 2wd...still wouldn't hurt to have a 4wd nearby.

I would be careful on FS10 with a prefunner. It would be easy to go down a hill that you could not make it back up, and if you were by yourself, you would be screwed.
