    This is true but depending on how good you are with your grip, a 45 will have a bit more kick which means unless you can grip very well and stay on target you will be better with a 9mm being accurate in this situation, and I have heard but have not tried myself that with the xd-s being as small as it is some people have trouble gripping it, and also they make the mistake of hitting the mag release this jamming, so make sure you don't have giant hands and can manage this before purchasing.

    Thats why I went with the .45. its a concealed carry for a reason.. you're not gonna be sightin somebody in at 20 yards with this thing.. and even if you wanted to, good luck with the 3.3" barrel. I bought specifically for personal defense. I knew it would be up close and dirty if I was going to use it, and wanted the .45. I carried mine in a Kydex holster.. and LOVED how it disappeared. I also carried it loaded with Nickel cased Hornady Critical Defense... so it just looked damn sexy in a .45

    I've been looking for a nice black colored concealed in the waist band holster for my Kimber. Any suggestions? The variability out there is just staggering!!!

    I would say a leather holster.. or Kydex.. but the Kimber being full alloy and just damn pretty.. I would stick to Leather.

    I've seen a couple of them done, it's not nearly as bad as what folks think. I think it takes a TRUE man to step up instead of making his wife get their tubes tide something FAR FAR more invasive. I really applaud you sir and your decision to get snipped !! And you're right....getting kicked in the nuts is FAR FAR worse than getting a vasectomy.....the local anesthetic was probably the worst part of the entire thing.

    I'd still take the .45 over the 9mm though.. but that's also just personal preference.

    Yeah it's a Stainless on the slide but Aluminum in the body as I recall. Its the Pro CDP II. I really do love it, my first .45. I shot my brother in laws and just absolutely fell in love with them. Had saved up for a while to get him. RTT or Kimber...RTT...Kimber....decisions decisions. :)

    I would like to get a nice black leather holster I think I'm just not sure of the names to look at.
