    Lol, I wish!

    It's the big fucking behemoth!

It's one of the 10000 things I need to certify in before teaching.

You have to be certified on driving a school bus before becoming a teacher?

Or do you mean teaching CDL classes or something?

I teach industrial tech, and we have on campus and of campus facilities so I have to transport the students.

haha as i recall, that was sorta as much your fault as theres..wasn't it? you requested a 3'' lift pack with like 500lbs in the bed right?

So you needed at least 500-600lbs in the bed to get it to 3'' of lift. Which i do recall you didn't have because you where building them to suit the truck in the future, as in you hadn't purchased your rear bumper, bed rack, whatever was gonna be on the back.

I love Alcan. Did exactly what we wanted with my Dads rig. Mikes too. Mine still work amazing, even though there weren't custom.

Im sure i missing something on your story but still..what did you expect?

hAHAH. I thought there may be a kick ass webpage that had some fancy charts...or comparisons....

I typed in "UCA comparison" and the googles brought me right back to TW....

Yeah it's pretty cool, we have a close relationship with the schools, city and surrounding industry. So unlike when I was in school and they were trying to shut down programs like this, the entire community is heavily invested. Bringing back jobs to the good old USA!

No not my fault. And I was mostly pissed cause the owner told me I was lying and trying to cheat them, which if it was my mistake or I changed my mind I wouldn't have tried to get them to fix it. I had initially wanted a lift but then decided I didn't and verified with them, but I still wanted 300 or so over stock capacity, they said OK. The problem was with only the topper on the packs say with a negative arch, which he assured me was perfectly fine, which I called bs on. I was never rude or demanded anything, when asked what I wanted to do I said I don't know what do you suggest? The answer was something along the lines of send them back and pay shipping both ways. I've never been treated or accused of anything like he did. Yeah I'm still bitter about it, not so much in regards to the springs themselves but what he accused me of doing. I try to be as understanding, polite and honest as I can and like I said if it was my fault I would have had no problem paying to fix it myself.

    End rambling incoherent rant!

so, I've done some light reading...and I've come to the place where I usually end up after reading a thread....

Some say uniballs are bad to get, some say ball joints are worthless.

I live in Indiana...and they salt the roads heavily, making me lean towards ball joints....but the ball joints have less travel.

I do light off roading...so I am leaning more towards the ball joint style.

    Shopping this weekend...woot.

    Credit card will be pissed.

    Ah well that is different.

    Sorry to hear that.

Some spring are in fact designed to have negative arch though..thats how the Dakars are..

    But oh well.

The light racing ones might be best. they are still a ball joint but sealed. Will last longer then uniballs, about 2x-3x longer.

    What?

    Camburgs are uniballs too...

Originally I thought the same. I read a lot in the mid travel section and there was a member who started with the LR UCAs then moved to TC uniballs. His travel stayed the same. Didn't gain or loose any.

Oh I know, that's what he tried telling me, but it was lower then my stock sagging springs. And with any decent weight in the bed say very low.
