    All I had was a vaium and an antibiotic 1 hour before the procedure. The pain I had was when the vas was clamped. It was more like a quick dull flick to each nut. He did have some issue with one side. After that it was the occasional random dull pain in my nuts for about 45 days after.

    Might as well start with an aluminum block if you're going to start with a bare block. IMO

    Valium......I never was a fan of that. I usually give my patients Ativan before I do something unpleasant to them to help them relax. Though most of my patients if I'm doing anything unpleasant to like a chest tube I'll just give them conscious sedation. I really don't want them to be awake for any of it. :) As long as you're breathing.....I'm happy!!!

    Ha maybe I should have gone into Urology...play with wieners all day long HAHAHA. :)

    I'm assuming you only have to be bed bound for a day or two then you're good to go?
