    1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.

    Sport rear lol not that much better. Going 35s and mud tires I may get alittle more rambunctious since no kid this trip

    LSD is pretty much the same as an open diff when it comes to articulation where a tire may get pulled off the ground. ;)

    Yeah probably lol and my steering rack was shot I replaced it and everything seems fine now but I have yet to get my front end realignment done since I've been working my ever living ass off so I'm stuck driving the Chevy

    Honestly, I can relate though. I have my new wheel bearing and seals which could technically get the OGT roadworthy again, but I'm holding off on getting my LCA bushings so I only have to take everything apart one time (and I don't have to leave the OGT on jack stands for a prolonged period of time). Consequently, I'm heading over to meet up with Spruce tomorrow morning and I'll be showing up in the Honda. :oops: :p

    BTW, speaking of alignments...did you ever get that frozen eccentric fixed? I've been doing a lot of research on those given I'm about to pull mine apart (hopefully none of them are frozen). There seems to be a cautionary tale in there for 2nd Gen guys. If you'll haven't done so already, you 2nd Gen guys should pull yours apart and grease the crap out of them (or at least liberally coat them with anti-seize) so they don't lock up on you. Evidently Toyota put them in dry which is the reason they seize up so frequently. It might save you from having to by new eccentrics--which aren't cheap--should your LCA bushings ever go bad or if you can't get your front end aligned properly.

    Yep I took care of that a couple of months ago I had to use an air hammer to get them apart and hit the new ones with a crap ton of antiseize

    Awesome! Thanks, Todd. I'll definitely let you know if I run into any snags. I'm hoping not. Had it aligned 2 years ago and they seemed fine then. Plus, I've already soaked them down with acetone/ATF a couple weeks ago. I'll do it again the night before start taking them apart. Hopefully it'll soak in there and free everything up before I even touch it.
