I'm a little confused about when this conversation went from truck parts to how daddy pays to fix your truck.

Calling me "financially stupid" is incorrect and inappropriate. I do it because I like to. Not because I want something to spend money on.

5100's and that spacer? Hopefully you're 2wd or your cv axles are going to love you.

Yes, warranty might (?) cover suspension, but probably won't cover your CV axles when they start
clicking and then worse, remember you altered your suspension if you blow a shock they can blame your modifications

As for bigger tires, get 265 75 17 (?) all terrains of some sort just a little bigger will look good just save the money and do it right the first time, no spacers, blocks etc unless the biggest obstacle you'll take is the speed bumps at the mall and that occasional puddle on the side of the road and then post on Facebook "got the truck dirty today":p :D

    Fore sure!

I live in nj not Montana. I can hit a pothole bigger then you hit off road.

So tell me again about my cv joints when I dropped the diff 2"?

If it's anything like the 2nd gen, a diff drop is utterly useless and generally advised against using. Also a spacer doesn't keep your warranty in tact any more so than going coil overs. They legally can't void your warranty as a whole for modifications but can blame said modification on a failure. Bust a shock or blow a boot and have an axle go bad and they can blame your lift either way if they wanted to.

So wait you don't drop the diff with this? Oh wait we just increase spring pressure to increase ride height? So it rides like a rock at 3" with out dropped sway bar or diff.

Wait so I'm in the danger zone? I may over compress? Oh wait I adjusted my bump stops so that won't happen.

So I get 1" less compression? When I go rock crawling I will worry about that.

Yeah I don't live in Montana either so I don't know what's out there, that post wasn't directed toward you at all so don't bark at me, your truck, your money your lifestyle do whatever, btw your truck does look wicked good I just don't like spacer its my opinion I have seen what spacers do ( even with diff drop) but it's a crap shoot your axles May last you longer the the other guy but who knows but you have altered your suspension so your cv axles will not last as long but that's normal

Look on here and Google what diff drops actually do it will surprise you

Wasn't directed at you. Just people talk so much shit.

Truth be said if I keep the truck 5 years will be a long time.

Half these guys probably don't even have half of what they wish they did.

Agreed, this world wouldn't go round without shit talking :D

I am about to get 5100s for the front (@ 2.5) and a 2" AAL with 5125 in the back still waiting to pull the the trigger I want to get new tires first though nothing worse than lifting your truck and then seeing you need tires but can't afford them :annoyed:
