They are 2.5" wide which is pretty standard. Have to thin them down just a touch by the u bolts.

Looks like a nice reman, is the whole rack a MOOG part or just OTREs? Also I wish you all the luck on the spindle bearing pressing, it's one hell of a job even for a big press.

Does anyone ever use tire chains? We had to use some today at work to get up some trails in our suburban and they worked amazingly well. They were the v-bar type.

I have them in my truck in case I ever find myself in weather that may necessitate them. They aren't that style though, mine have a tensioning mechanism instead of bungee cords. Mine are also a different type of chain, still chain links but they aren't that vee shape. Either way what did you want to know about chains?

Oem is the only stock length lower control arm out there for first gen that i have found, just replaced mine actually.

For upper arms decide on uniball or balljoint and pick whatever

They looked decent in the pics from the magazine, same simple stuff as OEM two stamped pieces welded on the sides with all of the mounts welded on. The whole reason they replaced them in the mag was because it was easier than putting new bushings in (guess they hadn't heard of the whiteline bushings).

Cost of bolts? I'm betting there is a good chance the originals are frozen in.

Yea I had two companies interested. Dirt King was full go for I think 1500 for an intro gb it was like 1100 or something. Used stock LBJ. Then another company said he'd do a uniball at some point. Just didn't know when.

The tie rod ends are new MOOG's, $41 each.

I will post up some pics of the press in action if they'll let me.
